Overview

We are an informal group of parents from the Ari community. We are not a commercial entity and we are not a registered foundation. We came together as regular users of Public Relations Park who care about improving the safety, durability, and quality of the children’s play area.

The project is community-led and developed in collaboration with professional playground designers and child-focused design experts. We work in coordination with the Public Relations Department, the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration, and the Phaya Thai District Office, with support from the Bangkok Governor’s “15 Minutes to Park” initiative.

Our role is to organize the design, fundraising, and delivery of the playground upgrade so that it serves children and families safely and reliably over the long term.

Problem

The main issue is that the existing playground is no longer safe or durable. The previous equipment deteriorated due to environmental conditions and lacked proper safety flooring, creating safety risks for children and limiting long-term use.

Mission

The project addresses the issue by redesigning the playground from the start with safety, durability, and environmental conditions in mind. It is developed with a professional playground architect and child-focused design experts, uses appropriate materials and safety flooring, and is coordinated with relevant city agencies to support proper installation, oversight, and long-term maintenance.

Your impact

Funds are allocated to professional playground design and planning, high-quality and durable play equipment, safety flooring, and safe installation and construction. The budget also accounts for materials suitable for outdoor environmental conditions to ensure long-term durability.
