What is Teach For Thailand?
“Teach for Thailand” believes that leadership is the key to transforming schools, systems, and—ultimately—children’s futures. We hand-picked a new generation of Thais (with a minimum of bachelor’s degree) to join in the Leadership Development Program as change-makers – where they are committed to 2 years teaching and inspiring local communities throughout Thailand.
About the Teach For Thailand Fund
The main objectives of the “Teach For Thailand Fund” is to support projects under Teach For Thailand, initiated by the teachers for their students & the local community.
How will your donation create impact?
For every 750 baht, you can provide a student from a low income family with a new learning opportunity
The means of devising the exact money needed per donation is based on a previous activity’s expense: Londo’s 2 camp (one day trip) was 30,000 THB and the average number of students per class was 40 students. Thus, the estimated impact from a Teach for Thailand fellow’s project is: 30,000/40 = 750 baht per student.
