Bangkok Climate Action Week (BKKCAW)

28 September – 4 October 2025

Bangkok Climate Action Week is a week-long celebration taking place across the city, bringing together people, ideas, and communities to spark meaningful climate action. From hands-on workshops and inspiring talks to art installations, pop-ups, and interactive events. BKKCAW turns climate action into something creative, personal, and engaging for everyone.

The goal is simple but powerful: to connect, create, and celebrate a more sustainable future for Southeast Asia.

About Bangkok Climate Action Week (BKKCAW)

BKKCAW is community-led, meaning events are created by people like you, whether you’re an artist, NGO, school, business, embassy, or just someone with an idea. The BKKCAW team helps bring everything together, shining a spotlight on these efforts and helping partners connect. It’s where climate meets culture, creativity, and community. This year, events will include:

• Workshops & Talks
• Art Installations & Film Screenings
• Pop-ups, Performances, & Local Markets
• Interactive Climate Experiences

Problem

Climate change is already affecting our lives, from floods and heat waves to food and water insecurity. But too many people still feel left out of the conversation or unsure where to start.

The real problem isn’t just awareness. It’s a lack of access, support, and visibility. Climate action can seem distant or difficult when it should be something we all feel connected to.

Mission

To create space for courageous climate action by making climate engagement inclusive, creative, and rooted in local realities.

BKKCAW aims to:

• Get more people involved in climate action
• Help different groups and communities work together
• Show real, local solutions in action
• Shape a new climate narrative through culture and imagination.

Bangkok Climate Action Week is organised by JUTI (Just Transitions Incubator) in partnership with the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (BMA).

BKKCAW is inspired by London Climate Action Week and forms part of a growing global network of cities working together to advance local climate action.
