Overview
The SATI Foundation is a grassroots non-profit organization devoted to improving the mental health and overall well-being of at-risk and underserved youth in Thailand. Through mindfulness-based workshops, counseling, and holistic support, SATI empowers young individuals to overcome challenges such as trauma and family instability. The foundation provides educational opportunities, confidence-building activities, and practical livelihood training, equipping youth with essential skills for self-reliance and brighter futures. Problem
SATI’s Scholarship Program combines financial aid and holistic support system to promote both academic success and personal well-being. Realizing that many children in Thailand lack access to education due to poverty, the SATI Scholarship program began organically through workshops and mental health programs we ran for youth. Along the way, we met more and more kids who couldn’t afford school but showed incredible potential. Our founder, Khun Sakson, began helping with tuition, and as more kids joined Na (Cafe), the support naturally grew. Na Cafe is our partner organization that works with us to train and employ youth. Through surveys, workshops, and regular check-ins, SATI tracks students’ academic progress and mental health, enabling early identification of risk factors like emotional distress or academic challenges
