Overview

Covid-19 is more likely to spread among low income communities due to high reliance on daily wages that makes social distancing impossible. Covid Relief Bangkok provides Covid-19 survival kits (masks, ATKs, food) to support in-house quarantine and to ease spread among low income households. Every 300 THB donated will go to support 1 low income family.

Problem

Low income families relying on daily wages during the pandemic are highly susceptible to catching Covid-19 due to impossibility of social distancing. Among them, young children, elders or individuals in the eight congenital illnesses are more prone to get severe symptoms but have limited access to proper medical care. 

Covid Relief Bangkok Mission

Covid Relief Bangkok provides Covid-19 survival kits (masks, ATKs, food) to low income, unregistered, or migrant individuals to encourage social distancing between their communities. 

Formed by SATI foundation, Scholars of Sustenance, and Urban Studies Lab with support from Bangkok 1899 and Thai Health Volunteers Foundation, Covid Relief Bangkok has distributed at least 1 million meals to underprivileged households and helped facilitate proper medical attention.
